The countdown to the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games is on, but what does this mean for the competing athletes?

Retired professional athlete and Olympic Gold medallist, and recent inductee into the Queensland Sport Hall of Fame, Duncan Free, will explore the life of an elite athlete two months out from a major competition. Professor David Thiel will offer an insight into the science and engineering behind the process of monitoring an athletes’ progress in their preparations to compete.
