Broadening Broadband - Connecting Your Place
Gold Coast City Council is keen to get your opinion on broadband access.
Gold Coast City Council is committed to improving broadband access for residents and businesses. Our Broadband Usage Survey is collecting information on the current level of broadband access on the Gold Coast. The information obtained from the survey will be used for future projects to improve broadband access in the region.
The survey should take 15 to 20 minutes to complete and survey participants have the chance to win one of ten double movie passes.
If you are completing the survey on a public computer, such as an Internet café or library, please select this option instead.

Broadening Broadband - connecting your place
During 2005, Gold Coast City Council ran a project to increase the coverage of Broadband Internet Services throughout the Gold Coast area.
This project successfully introduced wireless broadband capability into many suburbs that were unable to access ADSL over copper and has exceeded its target of 80 percent coverage. There is currently over 95 percent coverage across the city.
While this project has concluded, Gold Coast City Council is committed to increasing the access and range of high quality, low cost Internet solutions for the region.
