Active & Healthy nervous newbies

This class is designed to strengthen and tone the whole body to meet the needs of ageing and bone density while working on agility, balance and coordination. Suitable for beginners to advanced, where you work to your level and ability.

Active & Healthy staying strong

Experienced senior fitness trainers will help improve balance, mobility and strength. All exercises aim to improve stability, coordination, muscle tone, flexibility and mental wellbeing.

Mature and motivated energiser

A session aimed mainly at over 50s and based on the gentle arts of Chi Gong, mindful breathing and very simple yoga. Bring peace and calm with this moving meditation.

Mature age men's fitness

This is a great class for men to improve general strength and conditioning for all shapes, sizes and fitness levels. Classes include stretching, cardio and strength training working at your own level.

Active and Healthy growing stronger

These rehabilitative focused classes combine strength training, mobility and core work to assist with balance and help keep you active, strong and mobile. Classes provide structured exercises for seniors with chronic health conditions or mobility concerns.

40s active

Group classes incorporating strength, core, balance and stretching. Low impact but a high level of fun, perfect for men and women 40 years and above. 40s active plus is a moderate and high intensity class.

40s active rehab

Group classes incorporating strength and balance training for those with chronic illness, injury or clients needing rehabilitative support and stretching. Low impact and perfect for men and women 40 years plus.

Move for life

This program aims to improve your mobility, strength, balance, coordination and flexibility in a fun and safe environment.

Core strength for seniors

Designed to connect correct breathing with the entire core system working on strengthening the whole body while using the power of breath with equipment such as weights, balls and body weight.

Seniors fitness classes

Gentle exercise classes incorporating stretching and strengthening to promote flexible joints, stronger muscles and healthier backs.

I Love Me

Learn to improve balance and body strength, increase joint mobility and flexibility in these friendly classes designed to help you reduce arthritic pain and lose weight.

Active & Healthy Seniors SUP

Ever wanted to cruise the waterways on a stand up paddle board (SUP) but not sure how to start? Well this is the class for you. Starting from the shore, the lesson progresses in small steps with the goal of getting everyone up and standing on the water. A fun non-competitive class which is all about being outdoors, getting active, enjoying life and having a go.

General Wellness Centre group classes

Run by a qualified exercise physiologist, classes are low impact with a high element of fun. The focus is on resistance training to decrease the rate of bone degeneration, improve muscle tone, improve stability and decrease risk of falls.

We also have some great walking, aqua, yoga, remedial and wellbeing workshops on offer.
