Active & Healthy supported activities run in ten-week blocks and are aligned with the Queensland school term. For school holiday activities see our Active & Healthy holiday program.

Active & Healthy after school fitness

Get the kids moving and having fun with this multi-sport styled activity for ages 5 to 12 years. Kids will be introduced to a variety of sports and fitness activities in a fun and non-competitive environment.

Active & Healthy move and groove

This energetic program teaches children how to dance and express themselves physically and creatively as they develop fitness and flexibility. Ages 2 to 5 years.

Active & Healthy sport and fitness fundamentals

A fun multi-sport and fitness program for pre-school children. The kids will practice fundamental gross motor skills such as kicking, catching and throwing. This is achieved through the teaching of basics of sports such as AFL, soccer, rugby league, cricket, mini-Olympics and more.

Gym sports

This fun gym sports session provides an introduction to the variety of gymnastic themed sports including artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, cheerleading and aerobics for kids aged 2 to 5 years and their parent/carer. The variety of equipment engages children as they jump, split, spin, kick, press, leap and balance in this high energy class.

Bookings are not required.

GMG sports training

Specialised speed and movement and sprint training sessions especially designed for children and teenagers. Opportunities and pathways exist from 12 years onward to compete in a wider scale. Please wear running shoes and bring a water bottle.

Junior fitness at the Sports Super Centre

Give your kids the best possible start for a healthy and active life. This junior fitness program introduces kids to a wide range of sports and physical activity, allowing them to sample fitness options while encouraging activity, developing physical fitness and building self-esteem all while having fun! Child minding available (additional costs apply).

Gecko Sports kids fitness

Multi-sport and fun fitness program for primary school aged children. Sessions include mini-Olympics, soccer, rugby league, AFL, boxing, netball, basketball, cricket, athletics and team challenge. Age groups include youngsters (5 to 8 years) and midsters (9 to 12 years).

Victory kids

Victory kids is designed to bring community together through fun interactive games for children in our local community park. Join in for 30 minutes of jam-packed fun activities for kids aged 6 to 12 years.


The kids will love this fun multi-sports program for kids aged 2 to 5yrs. The activities rotate through nine sports with a new sport every four weeks introducing children to a lifetime of loving sport.

Fitletica kids outdoor fitness classes

Fitletica offers a fun way for pre-schoolers to develop their gross and fine motor skills including strength, balance, coordination, cardio, speed and agility, flexibility, teamwork and mindfulness activities. Perfect for ages 3 – 5 years.

Groms surf and boardrider fitness

Fun and engaging new training and coaching method designed for the younger ones! For all types of surfers and boardriders. Our classes combine the best of functional movement, body weight, strength and conditioning training principles all in one.

Pure dance and fun

Beautiful, fun, creative and engaging dance classes for 3 to 5 years that combines jazz and ballet styles to help develop movement, coordination, motor skills and musical rhythms.

Hip hop

Does your child love to dance around the house? Are they active and need to burn some energy? Then they will love this fun and high energy hip hop classes for kids aged 5 to 14 years. The kids will improve their flexibility, coordination and confidence. First session is free.

Starting Strong

Starting Strong offers early outdoor learning with structured, theme-based programs run by qualified early childhood educators. Various age-appropriate programs are available. Bookings are required, 10-week school term commitment.
