Eating well and being physically active are essential for wellbeing. Kids learn by example and parents are their greatest role models. Through their actions, parents can help instil a love of activity and healthy lifestyle patterns that their children can carry through to adulthood.

What is the best way to exercise after birth?

Pilates for Women and the Mummy Trainer will take you through a mini taster of how to exercise after birth. Suitable after your six week check, this session is a workout and an education session with a Q&A after. Please bring a mat and water bottle and of course your baby is welcome, spaces are limited.

Pregnancy pilates

A safe movement class for women who are pregnant (12 weeks until birth). Prepare for birth and understand your pelvic floor, keep strong through each trimester and connect with other mums to be.

Post-natal pilates for mums

Improve your core strength and reconnect with your body. Focusing on pelvic floor strengthening and overall core strength with a free assessment and support offered throughout. Suitable for mums six weeks post-natal and children up to the start of crawling.

Balanced body pilates

A personalised, small group exercise program for mums and children of all ages. Our baby friendly sessions allow you to start your day with an energising, realigning and strengthening power session. It’s a chance for you and baby to get out of the house and focus on your mind, body and soul.

Active & Healthy full body fitness and movement

These classes are a great way for mums and dads to work on their fitness while getting your mind and body active and making friends with other parents. Children aged 2 to 5 years are welcome to attend with craft activities offered while parents are training.

Active & Healthy Get Raw fitness + tone up sessions

Burn fat, tone up and get in shape with these fun 30 minute classes. Sessions are designed to target troubled areas and will leave you feeling amazing! If you have kids or bubs take advantage of the free nanny service. Classes are suitable for all fitness levels and abilities.

Active & Healthy stroller group

Join other parents and their bubs in this fun, outdoor post-natal exercise to help regain and improve health, fitness and wellbeing. Parents with children of all ages are welcome.

Active & Healthy mums ’n’ bubs box fit

A fun, exciting boxing and bodyweight session for all fitness levels. Enjoy the company of other women while we box, jump, run and laugh. All equipment is supplied. Bring a water bottle, towel, wear joggers and comfortable active wear. Bubs and toddlers are welcome.

Mums and dads bootcamp

Outdoor exercise classes cater for all ages, sizes and fitness levels. Children's playground close by and accessible.

Mummylicious fitness

This specialised post-natal interval circuit is designed to rev up metabolism and burn fat. Classes suit all fitness levels and are child friendly with baby assistant and playpen provided on Monday and Wednesday.

Mums ’n’ bubs group personal training

This weekly group session is delivered by a postnatal specific personal trainer and is suitable from 12 weeks postpartum. All classes are pelvic floor and abdominal separation safe and cater to all fitness levels.

Mums and bubs fitness classes

Includes group exercises specifically selected to strengthen and tone particular muscle groups. Feel as good inside as you look on the outside while meeting other mums in a friendly environment and bonding with your child through exercise.

Let’s Move Mums

It’s time to get out of the car and off the side lines ladies and join in a fun fitness class while the kids are training. As mums we always put the kids first and ensure that they get to training, but what about doing something for you for a change. The program is all about encouraging busy mums to join in regular physical activity while the kids are training, with classes offered at a range of sporting precincts across the City. Classes include a combination of activities such as strength, cardio, boxing and functional fitness movements.

Let’s Move Mums will run in school terms only and from 16 July to 14 December 2018.
