Healthy cooking workshops

This series of cooking workshops is designed to help you understand how to make wholesome, healthy and delicious meals using a variety of seasonal and nutritious wholefoods.

Each workshop is run by a qualified nutrition specialist who will teach you how to cook your way to good health using fresh ingredients and show you how to rediscover the joy of cooking.

Earth Mother – wholefood cooking

Wholefood cooking workshops will focus on all aspects of food-literacy to educate and empower participants, allowing them to confidently take control of their health and make informed decisions for positive health outcomes and improved quality of life.

With the goal of empowered and sustained behaviour-change for individuals and families across the Gold Coast, these workshops aim to unravel the complexities of health and wellbeing that are relative to person, place and time. They focus on the local foodscape, allowing people the flexibility to meet their needs with what is available in their surrounding area.

These qualifications are mixed with years of testing the limits of the body physically and mentally as a professional athlete in the world of Ironwoman racing, winning world and Australian titles.

Now a mother of two, Karla’s focus is about sustainable habits and helping others improve health, fitness and overall wellbeing.

Practical and simple health eating workshops with a Dietitian

Our experienced dietitians from My Nutrition Clinic are running some practical and informative workshops for people who want to improve their health and wellbeing through food.

Our paediatric dietitian, Jacqui Palmer has spent years helping families overcome fussy eating, and is passionate about making lunchboxes that kids will eat, as well as provide the right fuel for learning and development.

Anna D’Arcy and Molly Warner are dietitians who are passionate about sharing their simple tips and tricks for making the meals you know and love a bit kinder on the waistline and wallet.
