City of Gold Coast (City) offers a range of social and community services, facilities and networks that play an important role in bringing people together, supporting social interaction and encouraging active lifestyles.

The City’s Community Development Officers work with local residents, community organisations and other government agencies to build social connections and community capacity, link residents to local services, and help address service gaps.

We also have approximately 400 community facility leases with sporting clubs and other community organisations across the city.

Our Active and Healthy program consists of over 170 free and low cost activities per week, catering to people of all ages and abilities.
From January 2016, immunisation clinics will be provided by Queensland Health.
