The City of Gold Coast’s community development officers increase positive local connections, reduce social isolation and maintain a strong sense of belonging identity and pride by providing the following products and services to Gold Coast communities:
- local community activities
- support for community groups
- community partnerships.

We also have approximately 400 community facility leases with sporting clubs and other community organisations across the city.

Our Active and Healthy program consists of over 170 free and low cost activities per week, catering to people of all ages and abilities.
From January 2016, immunisation clinics will be provided by Queensland Health.
