Grants & Funding for People with Disabilities
There is a range of funding and grants available for people with disabilities, groups and organisations.
The following government departments provide on-going funding to services, organisations and activities for people with disabilities:
The Gold Coast City Council’s Grants and Research team assists groups to obtain grant funding outside of Council including State and Federal Government departments, corporations and philanthropic trusts and foundations.
Gold Coast City Council also provides some financial assistance for non-profit community groups, including groups supporting people with disabilities, through established and occasional programs and through one-off donations. We respond to applications for support, subject to availability of funding.
The following may provide one off grants to organisations or groups for people with disabilities:

- Gambling Community Benefit Fund and Jupiters Casino Community Benefit Fund
- Australian Government

The Australian Directory of Philanthropy
This Directory lists more than 420 trusts, foundations and corporate giving programs and incorporates The Australian Directory of Corporate Community Investment, which lists over 40 Australian corporations which have community investment programs.
