There is a range of funding and grants available for people with disabilities, groups and organisations.

Funding

The following government departments provide ongoing funding to services, organisations and activities for people with disabilities:

Grants

The City of Gold Coast’s Grants and Research team assists groups to obtain grant funding outside of City of Gold Coast including state and federal government departments, corporations and philanthropic trusts and foundations.

We also provide some financial assistance for non-profit community groups, including groups supporting people with disabilities, through established and occasional programs and through one-off donations. We respond to applications for support, subject to availability of funding.

The following may provide one off grants to organisations or groups for people with disabilities:

Our community

Our Community is a national gateway offering resources, support and linkages between the community and the general public, business and government. Apart from a vast array of valuable information, Our Community offers a funding and grants directory as well as resources to support the performance of not-for-profit boards and committees.

Our Community offers an EasyGrants Newsletter and Grants Education Service and provides Australia's only consolidated Grants Information Service, delivered every month.
