Funding
The following government departments provide on-going funding to services, organisations and activities for seniors:
Grants
The Gold Coast City Council’s Grants and Research team assists groups to obtain grant funding outside of Council including State and Federal Government departments, corporations and philanthropic trusts and foundations.
Gold Coast City Council also provides some financial assistance for non-profit community groups, including groups supporting seniors, through established and occasional programs and through one-off donations. We respond to applications for support, subject to availability of funding.
The following may also provide grants for seniors organisations or groups:

The Australian Directory of Philanthropy
This Directory lists more than 420 trusts, foundations and corporate giving programs and incorporates The Australian Directory of Corporate Community Investment, which lists over 40 Australian corporations which have community investment programs.
