Gold Coast City Council provides a number of services and facilities to improve the health and safety of residents and visitors of the city.

• Environmental Health - Council maximises environmental and public health within a community environment by identifying, preventing and remedying health and environmental related hazards and risks.


• Immunisation - Council conducts monthly day and night clinics at locations right across the city, offering free vaccinations listed on the National Immunisation Program Schedule Queensland (NIPSQ).


• Red Cross Blood Service - The Red Cross Mobile Blood Bank makes regular visits to the Surfers Paradise and Nerang Council Administration Centres as well as a host of other locations around the city.
