Located on Oxley Drive, the Runaway Bay Youth Centre is now operational. The centre is available for use by local youth, social and support groups, in addition to local musical and theatre groups for a large range of youth-related activities.

The site capitalises on links to major public vehicle and pedestrian thoroughfares. The building orientation addresses any potential sound issues by turning the main breakout area away from adjacent residential zones.

The centre provides flexible space, particularly for the production of youth-related music and theatre production, with areas for rehearsals, recording and performance of various arts. The single-storey building has been designed with an industrial/urban theme appropriate for the youth groups who use the centre.
