Festive season opening hours

Season's greetings from all of us at City of Gold Coast. Please note the following changes to our opening hours over Christmas and the New Year:

Customer service centres

Friday 16 December - all customer service centres will be closed from 2.30pm.
Monday 26 December to Monday 2 January, inclusive - all customer services centres excluding Nerang and Bundall will be closed. Our Nerang and Bundall centres will be open from 8.15am to 4.30pm as usual.

Community centres - our community centres will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and all public holidays.

Permanent closure of Surfers Paradise Customer Service Centre

The Surfers Paradise Customer Service Centre closed permanently on Tuesday 22 December 2015 in preparation for the development of the Gold Coast Cultural Precinct.

A new Customer Service Centre has been established at 8 Karp Court in Bundall.

Assisted services (e.g. National Relay Service, translating/interpreting assistance, hearing loops)

Language assistance

If you need an interpreter please call the National Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 131 450 to speak to a City officer. To use this service you will need to tell them your preferred language. This is a free service for City-related business.

National Relay Service

People who are deaf or have a hearing or speech impairment can call the City through the National Relay Service (NRS). Give the City of Gold Coast number, 1300 465 326, you want to call.

Hearing loop technology

The City provides hearing loop technology (also known as audio induction loop) at our Burleigh Customer Service Centre to assist customers with reduced ranges of hearing.
