As Constructed Data Standards and Guidelines

Council of the City of Gold Coast has adopted a standard that incorporates the Asset Design As Constructed (ADAC) specification as well as standards for asset types not currently included within the ADAC specification. The As Constructed Data Standard applies to the following infrastructure asset types:

  • roads
  • drainage
  • open space
  • water
  • sewerage
  • cadastre (as a reference feature)
  • site improvements*
  • buildings*.

*Infrastructure asset types developed by Council and not included in the ADAC specification.

The Council’s As Constructed Data Capture Guidelines provide information about the as constructed data requirements for each asset type that the City manages.

ADAC Specification

The Asset Design and As Constructed (ADAC) Specification originated from a project run by the South-East Queensland Region of Councils (SECROC) in 2001. The ADAC Specification is now supported by the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia, Queensland Division (IPWEAQ) and has been adopted by the majority of councils within south east Queensland. Compliance with the As Constructed Data Standard

The requirements for the submission of As Constructed information is provided in the City of Gold Coast As Constructed Data Capture Guidelines.

Preferred file format

The City's requirement for the type of file format to be provided for as constructed drawings is outlined in the City of Gold Coast As Constructed Data Capture Guidelines .
