Traffic Area and Parking Permit Scheme (TAPPS)

The City invites you to have your say on the proposed Regulated Parking (Amendment) Subordinate Local Law (No1) 2019.

Traffic Area and Parking Permit Scheme (TAPPS) is aimed at managing overflow parking in residential areas close to commercial and special use precincts and focuses on freeing up on-street spaces for residents and short to medium term visitors.

Proposed changes include:

  • reduction and expansion of some existing Traffic Area boundaries
  • amendments to existing resident and visitor parking permit criteria
  • additional types of parking permits.

Have your say about the proposed amendments or obtain additional information about the community engagement.

Community engagement runs until 5pm Monday 24 June 2019.
