students are invited to apply to The Foundation for Young Australians
for an Indigenous Youth Leadership Programme (IYLP) secondary
scholarship. The IYLP provides scholarships and leadership
opportunities targeting young Indigenous Australians from remote areas.
Scholarships of up to $15,000 per eligible secondary student, per
year, are available for tuition and accommodation costs.

Akademie Schloss Solitude, located in Stuttgart, Germany is offering approximately 60 residency fellowships of six to twelve months in duration. Persons up to 35 or who have completed a university or college degree within the past five years are welcome to apply. Queensland have announced their Mentoring Grant Program for
2006-2007. Up to $9,000 is available for arts and craft workers to
establish a mentoring relationship with an experienced practitioner
in their arts practice.

across Australia are invited to receive full funding and assistance
to make their first short film through Raw Nerve – National
Screen Funding which closes 30 October. Now in its fifth
year, Raw Nerve is a joint initiative developed between the Australian
Film Commission (AFC) and Screen Development Australia (SDA).

The Martin Bequest Travelling Scholarships assist young, talented Australians to explore and develop their artistic gifts abroard and interstate. The awards are open to native-born Australians aged 21 to 35 (17 to 35 for ballet) who are of outstanding ability and promise in one or more categories of the arts. The scholarships are intended to augment a scholar's own resources towards a cultural education, and may be used for study, maintenance, and travel either in Australia or overseas. There are twelve awards made annually, valued at $18,000 each and close 27 October. The categories vary from year to year.
