Bushland Health Checks

If you want advice on how to manage native plants and animals on your property, but don't want to be involved in an ongoing scheme, contact us for a free one-off Bushland Health Check.

One of our Conservation Partnerships Officers will visit you and provide:

  • a property map, descriptions of the vegetation types found on your property and plant species lists
  • tips to identify and control environmental weeds which can invade bushland and creeks.

The Conservation Partnerships Officer will accompany you on a short walk around your property, help you better understand your bushland and answer any questions you have about vegetation and wildlife.

We can also advise if your property is eligible for Land for Wildlife or a Voluntary Conservation Agreement.

Email conservationpartnerships@goldcoast.qld.gov.au or call 07 5582 8896 to arrange a Bushland Health Check.

Let us help you conserve native plants and animals on your property.
