Project information

The stormwater drainage infrastructure at Garrick Street to McLean Street, Coolangatta is being modified to improve the drainage system and reduce localised flooding in the area.

Commencing: August 2017
Completion: March 2018
Total project cost: $2.3 million

Construction impacts

We will be working to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum. Local residents will experience minor delays due to temporary traffic control at McLean Street and Garrick Street to carry out the works.

Traffic controls will be in place and existing access to local residents and businesses will be maintained.
