Local Area Plan Maps

The following maps form part of the Gold Coast City Planning Scheme, Local Area Plans (LAPs). LAP maps consist of one map or a collection of map sheets.

Not all areas of Gold Coast City are associated with an LAP. If your area or suburb is not featured in any of the Local Area Plans, check the maps adjacent to see if the area is covered in a nearby or adjoining LAP. A context map showing locations of the LAP areas is available as a visual reference.

About Local Area Plans Parts of Gold Coast City are divided into special planning units with unique characteristics for the purposes of land use and development control. The term Local Area Plan (LAP) is introduced to identify those areas with a particular local identity, natural resource base or development.
