Digital literacy courses

Digital literacy and technology programs are offered regularly at all libraries, and cover basic computer skills for new computer users, through to more advanced classes on topics like blogging and creating your own website.

Regular computer literacy classes held monthly at branch libraries include:

  • Computer basics
  • eBook help
  • Email basics
  • Internet basics
  • Introduction to Facebook
  • Introduction to Word
  • Mobile device basics

Our fully equipped digital creation space, the Media Lab, also provides workshops in exciting and innovative technologies including, 3D printing, animation, graphic design and more.

Fun, free technology training for seniors.

The Tech Savvy Seniors program provides fun, small group, technology training just for seniors. Whether you want to learn how to get online, use a tablet or send an email, our Tech Savvy Seniors courses can help you or a senior you know get started.

Please note: Tech Savvy sessions will resume in February 2018.
