English Conversation Circle

If English is your second language, these informal weekly sessions provide a chance to practice your conversational English in a relaxed setting with trained volunteers. Get tips on what you need to know to do well in IELTS tests at weekly workshops, developed specifically for international students. Sessions are held at the Southport Library.

Language Exchange

City Libraries 'Language Exchange' enables adults from diverse backgrounds to connect with other members of the community to improve their language skills and cultural insights in a relaxed environment. Participants have the opportunity to share or learn a new language. Register your interest at your local library or view our Language Exchange guide and expression of interest form.
