Changes at Mudgeeraba Library
From Wednesday 25 January, City Libraries will no longer provide a library collection at Mudgeeraba Library and Mudgeeraba Library resources will be integrated into Robina Library.
The integration of Mudgeeraba Library with Robina Library represents an opportunity for the repurposing of the library space at the Old Post Office Heritage Centre and the development of new creative opportunities for Mudgeeraba residents.
Commencing in March 2017, City Libraries will deliver a range of Digital City programs in the Mudgeeraba library space. Delivering Digital City programming in Mudgeeraba represents a first for City Libraries.
The ongoing availability of library services to Mudgeeraba residents is important to us. From Monday 30 January, City Libraries will introduce a third Mobile Library stop to the Division 9 catchment area. As well as its current stops at Bonogin and Gilston, the Mobile Library will be available at the Mudgeeraba Aquatic Centre, Apex Park Railway Street fortnightly from 9am until noon.
This local stop will provide a location to place and collect holds, borrow and return library items and to catch up with library staff. The mobile library has a significantly larger collection than what is at Mudgeeraba and also offers public computer access.
How do I get there?
Mudgeeraba Library is located in the Old Post Office Heritage Centre. Free parking is available at the rear of the building.
