Some Divisional Councillors contribute to the funding of Grants and Research officers to help build the capacity of not-for-profit community and sporting organisations by assisting groups to obtain grant funding from state and federal government departments, corporations and philanthropic trusts and foundations.
The officers also assist with strategic advice and support in relation to planning, sustainable management and governance matters. This is provided through information and advice relevant to the unique needs of the community and on specific community projects.
Support and level of assistance provided is determined by the local councillor’s divisional priorities. To ask if your local councillor is providing this service contact the relevant office via email.
To find out which division your organisation is located in and for contact details, please view the divisional maps.

This data is presented in easy to use tables, charts and commentary which can assist with compiling community statistics and data for inclusion in funding applications.
The Gold Coast City Community Atlas presents demographic data for the area in a series of interactive maps. A range of maps are available, including maps on population, ethnicity, education, household type, labour force, how people travel to work, housing tenure and cost, and computer use.
