City of Gold Coast supports lifelong learning, and we recognise that anyone, at any age, can make a positive contribution to the life and future of our city. We work closely with other organisations across the Gold Coast to make a range of education and learning programs available to schools, students and the wider community. We also provide support services on a variety of topics.
City of Gold Coast provides information, support and visits to schools who want to include Council’s role, work and governance structure in the curriculum. We also run programs to engage and educate young people about Council, and to recognise the contribution that children and young people make to our community.
Enhancing community well-being and safety, active lifestyles, pet awareness, graffiti prevention, libraries and cultural experiences.

Engaging children and young people in Council's role, governance and structure.
"The City's energy trailer is an amazing resource for our school to use. Not only is it free, it is easy to access, hands on, engaging for the kids and it aligns with the National Curriculum."
