The Gold Coast Music Advisory Group - call for expressions of interest

To support a successful live music scene, the Gold Coast needs strong partnerships across all tiers of government and with peak music bodies, music businesses/enterprises and musos. To achieve this, the City is calling for nominations to form a new Music Advisory Group.

To support the development of music industry professionals on the Gold Coast, the City is offering highly motivated individuals the opportunity to undertake professional paid attachments with a range of organisations to establish new relationships with industry leaders, artists and peers, and accelerate career opportunities.

GENERATE GC Labs 2019 – call for Expressions of Interest

Expressions of interest are now open for GENERATE GC; a bespoke, two-year program designed to develop new site specific work generated by Gold Coast artists and creative practitioners.


LENSGC 2019

In 2019 the City of Gold Coast’s Arts and Culture Unit are seeking expressions of interest from teams or individual practitioners (to be allocated into teams) who practice in one of the following specialty areas to work with a Team Leader and Cultural Influencer on LENSGC 2019 – writers/poets, digital content creators, photographers, film makers/videographers, sound artists.


LENSGC 2019 - Visual Literacy: Between Photographs & Words

In support of LENSGC 2019 the City is offering the opportunity for 12 Gold Coast artists to participate in a workshop - Visual Literacy: Between Photographs & Words - with previous LENSGC program participant Aaron Chapman.
