Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation (GOLDOC) is based on the Gold Coast.
GOLDOC employment opportunities will be extensively advertised on the official GC2018 website and in the media over the coming months and years. The majority of employment opportunities will start this year (2016).
Volunteers can also register their interest via the GC2018 website.
The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games™ involves one of the most significant procurement programs this decade.
The majority of the GC2018 expenditure budget (approximately $2 billion) will relate to procurement activities, offering a wide range of business opportunities for local suppliers.

- the forward procurement plan and schedule for GC2018

Trade 2018 is the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) Trade and Investment Program developed to strengthen ties across the Commonwealth and boost Gold Coast City’s and the state’s international business profile.
The program includes targeted inbound and outbound missions, international activations via business receptions and investor briefings run concurrently with the Queen’s Baton Relay, and an extensive business hosting program – Commonwealth House.

Commonwealth House is a parallel program leveraging the opportunity to promote economic opportunities in Queensland and the Gold Coast to representatives from foreign governments and businesses during Games-time in April 2018.
There will be high-level meetings for potential buyers and investors to explore commercial opportunities as part of an exclusive program of VIP receptions, networking activities and Commonwealth trade events.

Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) will require the energy and enthusiasm of 15,000 passionate volunteers to help deliver a great event. Dedicated, friendly volunteers are the cornerstone of all great events and GC2018 will be no different. The call was out for volunteers with a wide variety of skills and experience to shape the Games for athletes, officials and fans. There will be roles at a number of locations including the Games venues, Games Village and the Uniform and Accreditation Centre.

Want to be involved in the largest event to be staged in Australia in a decade or know someone who does? GC2018 is calling on people to nominate the local legends in their community. The Queen's Baton Relay needs 3800 baton bearers to carry the baton across Australia.
