Transport is critical to the success of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games™ (GC2018). Delivering a successful transport operation for GC2018 is a significant task requiring careful planning and investment.
In 2014, the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation (GOLDOC) and GC2018 partners (the Department of Transport and Main Roads and City of Gold Coast) released the draft Transport Strategic Plan for community consultation. The plan outlines the scale of the GC2018 transport task and how we intend to meet it.
