Narrowneck oceanway upgrades

Project description

We are upgrading the existing beach-side footpath and amenities block located along the eastern side of Main Beach Parade at Narrowneck, between Cable Street and Higman Street, Main Beach.

The $1.8 million upgrade includes:

  • a new five metre wide shared path
  • a new toilet block at the Cable Street end of the park to replace the existing facility
  • a new picnic shelter, beach viewing platforms, beach showers, bubblers, benches and dune fencing
  • upgrades to the grassed area adjacent to the central viewing platform
  • a dedicated disabled parking space at Main Beach Parade

Commencing: March 2017
Completion: September 2017
Cost: $1.8 million
