extent of works

Shared Path upgrades between Bischof Pioneer Park and Gold Coast Cycle Centre, Nerang.

Project description

The Gold Coast Cycle Centre at Nerang will host the Mountain Biking Event as part of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018). As the Host City of the GC2018, we are ensuring our venues are accessible via public transport as well as by pedestrians and cyclists.

This project will deliver infrastructure improvements for pedestrians and cyclists between Bischof Pioneer Park and the Gold Coast Cycle Centre including new and wider paths with infrastructure to facilitate safer road crossings. The upgrades will create an enjoyable experience for spectators as they travel between Nerang Rail Station and the host venue.
