If you want to see ‘Bad Behaviour’ on display, then rendezvous at Council’s Broadbeach Branch Library on Thursday 17 September at 7pm.

Community and Cultural Development Chair, Cr Bob La Castra, said next week’s Readers’ Rendezvous event would provide book lovers with the perfect opportunity to meet and greet with best selling Australian author Liz Byrski.

“Highly respected and published author Liz Byrski will talk about her latest literary offering, ‘Bad Behaviour’,” he said. “This special evening session will provide book lovers with the chance to hear the ‘story behind the stories’.

“There will also be time for book signing and chats with the author, but her visit will undoubtedly be very popular, so to avoid disappointment I suggest you get in and book your spot early.”

Cr La Castra said the Readers Rendezvous program was proving to be very popular with those who had always wanted to join a book club but didn’t know where to start.

“Readers Rendezvous times are flexible so that mums, young people and office workers don’t miss out on the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas about the books they love and meet some fantastic authors.”

Readers’ Rendezvous events are held at Council’s Broadbeach Branch Library. Places are limited and bookings are essential so please contact library staff on 5581 1555 to secure your spot.
