Old Pacific Highway, Oxenford upgrade

Old Pacific Highway upgrade

Commencing: August 2017
Completion: January 2018 (weather permitting)
Total project cost: $3.4 million

Project information

The City of Gold Coast maintains over 3000 kilometres of roads to improve driving conditions and road safety.

Works to renew and widen the Old Pacific Highway at Oxenford are underway from Leo Graham Way to Tamborine Oxenford Road. The $3.4 million upgrade includes reconstructing the road surface and widening the lanes in both directions.

Construction impacts

Works will be carried out in stages, starting near the roundabout at Leo Graham Way and moving north. We are working to minimise disruption to traffic. However, road users may experience traffic congestion and partial road closures are required. Where possible we will complete these works at night to reduce traffic delays. The Tamborine Oxenford Road Deviation provides an alternative route. Thank you for your patience.
