Commercial Vehicles
This permit is issued under Gold Coast City Council Local Law No. 2 (Regulated Parking) 2008 to regulate and manage parking in commercial loading zones through out the city. The aim of the permit system is to restrict the use of commercial loading zones to vehicles displaying the commercial vehicle permit on their windscreen. This system allows approved vehicles access to premises where vehicle loading and unloading occurs.
- Please Note - Working vehicles such as utilities, vans, dual cabs etc. do NOT require a permit.

No fees are required for licensing or processing unless the applicant's business operations are based outside the city of the Gold Coast.

- The applicant is responsible for ensuring the application is complete - please refer to application requirements.
- The applicant submits the application - please refer to how to submit an application.
- Council will then process the application within legislative or agreed time frames. Council will contact the applicant should additional information be required to process the application.
- Council will forward the approval to the applicant.
Note: Only a properly made application will be accepted by Council.
