Natural disasters can cause severe disruption and major damage to communities and services. Council is working to ensure our community, emergency services, recovery teams and administrators are prepared for all contingencies.
Among the effects of global warming are more frequent and more severe weather events. We are increasingly vulnerable to storm, flood, drought and bushfire, making it more important than ever for all residents to make advance preparations for different emergencies.
