Ready - Set - Teach

Gold Coast City Council offers teaching professionals a range of complete, ready-to-use educational modules developed in conjunction with Griffith University and designed to complement the Education Queensland Curricula.

These resources include modules for Council activities and functions and the eight key industries on the Gold Coast.

The educational modules are based on modern learning techniques, allowing students to use imagination, skill, research and experimentation.

How to use these educational modules

Each educational module includes complete educational information, activity sheets, evaluation and assessment forms and details of how each module links with the Education Queensland Curricula (Core Learning Outcomes, Strands and Processes etc). Each can be used as a complete educational module or as the basis to develop your own activities.

How were the modules graded?

Each educational module indicates the specific target grade range for which the lesson was developed. However, it is possible to use the structure and basic information of the activity to create a module a to suit a slightly different grade.

Educational modules by subject

Teaching professionals may choose to re-purpose the valuable information and structure of these activities to suit a different grade or other end use. You can search by subject to find materials which may be useful to your own activities.

Get Acrobat ReaderThe educational modules are all in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). To view the PDF, you will need the plugin or application Adobe Acrobat Reader installed. Download the free software at external link Adobe’s website.
