It is essential that candidates obtain a description and guide and address all Key Selection Criteria. Salary will be commensurate with experience and based on the salary bands listed, and in many cases includes an additional 15 per cent temporary incentive payment (up to $120,000 packages available to suitable applicants).

Technical Services Branch is Council's in-house consultancy service provider in the fields of:
- Project planning, design and delivery documentation
- Procurement of infrastructure and municipal services
- Survey (Engineering, Hydrographic and Cadastral)
- Civil materials testing (NATA Registered Laboratory)
Our broad and varied project types include roads, stormwater drainage, streetscape, parks, community facilities, building works and municipal services.
Technical Services currently have opportunities available for Design Project Officers, being engineers, architects, landscape architects, specifier/procurement officers and for CAD designers, technical officers and graduates in the following disciplines:
- Roads design
- Stormwater design
- Stormwater modelling
- Structural design
- Mechanical/electrical design
- Building Services design
- Public building and amenities design
- Furniture design
- Parks, foreshores and streetscape design
- Tender/procurement for construction and municipal maintenance services
