- what are the special needs that pets have
The program lasts for approximately 30 minutes. Interaction is encouraged by having large and colourful pictures and props. Each student is left with a colouring picture and several activities to complete with their teacher after the major presentation.
Pet Awareness Program
This program has been designed for year 5 students. The following issues are discussed:
- Council Pet Pack rules
- dog obedience
- bite prevention
- animal training
The students are encouraged to interact by answering questions and assisting the presenters. The teachers are left with pictures and puzzles and other goodies to assist in a follow up discussion after the major presentation.
