People with disabilities

Approximately one hundred thousand people living in Gold Coast City have a disability.

Gold Coast City Council provides facilities and services to assist people with disabilities such as library services and a Council Cab Service. Council also supports a range of initiatives in partnership with community groups and other levels of government as well as advocating for people with disabilities in relation to better access to facilities, services and information.
