Did you know?
Council provides commercial waste & commingled recycling services to Gold Coast businesses at very competitive rates. Our waste services are seven days a week and recycling services two days a week in most areas. Services include wheelie bins and bulk waste containers.
Strategies for the management and reduction of waste
2020 Vision on Waste
In consultation with the community, business and industry, Council has created a visionary, 20 year plan that seeks to reduce the city's reliance on landfill as a major solution to solid waste.
Wipe out Waste
The Gold Coast City Council's free Wipe out Waste Schools Program teaches children about waste minimisation in a fun and interactive way.
The Wipe Out Waste van visits schools and events complete with teacher. Recycling, resource recovery, litter prevention and more.
