V1 Bikeway
The construction of the V1 bikeway has been completed taking commuters and cyclists past some of South East Queensland's premier tourist attractions.
Stretching 35 kilometres, from Smith Street at Gaven to the Logan River at Beenleigh (Logan City), the route ties together local parks, major theme parks such as Dreamworld and Movieworld and some of the local tourist attractions such as the Strawberry Farm at Pimpama.
The project is a result of the combined effort of the Department of Main Roads, Queensland Transport, Gold Coast City Council, Bicycle Queensland and Bicycle Gold Coast who all worked together to deliver an outstanding bikeway for all users.
