| Tender information | Subject to the requirements of the Contract, the Fire Flow Augmentation program includes the Design and Construction for replacement/extension of numerous water reticulation mains of various diameters and lengths, consisting of supply of all pipes, fittings, and associated works such as live water connections, tunnel boring/pipe jacking at various sites across the City of Gold Coast. The Program is for the 2009/2010 financial year, with the value of works under the Contract being $2,500,000 +/- 10%. There is an option available for a second financial year 2010/11 for a contract value of $5,000,000 and a third financial year 2011/12 for a contract value of $5,000,000. These extensions will be at the sole discretion of the Principal.
Due to ongoing Institutional Reforms in the water & wastewater industry, the Principal reserves the right to negotiate appropriate changes to the Contract. The Principal reserves the right to amend the Contract values for financial years 2010/11 and 2011/12 or not to extend the Contract.
