Tenders

Currently Gold Coast City Council can receive tenders via 2 mediums:

  1. Hardcopy submitted to the tender box
  2. Electronic (via electronic upload into lg tender box)

Note: a non-refundable fee payable on collection of tender documents may apply. Please see document fee in table below for applicable amount.

From 1 July 2012, Gold Coast City Council will only accept tenders submitted electronically via www.lgtenderbox.com.au.

No other method of tender submission will be acceptable, for example tenders submitted by hardcopy, email or facsimile.

All prospective Tenderers to Gold Coast City Council should register with www.lgtenderbox.com.au (at no cost) to enable them to be notified of advertised tenders.

Tenders are required when the intended expenditure is greater than $150,000 inclusive of GST Council must invite public tenders, where no exemption under the Local Government Act is utilised.

It is recommended if a supplier is looking for opportunities to supply Council they register on the Queensland Local Government Online tendering website to receive all tender opportunities via email at the time of publishing, free of charge.

Council also utilises the current Local Government Association of Queensland (LGAQ) panel arrangements for procurement of goods and services.
