Armor All Gold Coast 600 Road Closures & Traffic Restrictions
Each year Gold Coast City hosts the Armor All Gold Coast 600 racing, usually during October which results in a number of road closures and traffic restrictions. Most road closures occur in the Surfers Paradise and Paradise Waters areas.
Road closures - 15 October to 22 October 2012
Gold Coast Highway - southbound from Tedder Avenue to Ferny Avenue - closed to all traffic from 2am Monday 15 October until 5pm Monday 22 October 2012.
Gold Coast Highway - northbound will operate two-way from Ferny Avenue to Waterways Drive during this period.
No right turns will be permitted along this section of road.
Access to Paradise Waters, Budds Beach, The Esplanade and Surfers Paradise Boulevard northbound at Staghorne Avenue will be restricted to pass holders.
