Gold Coast Aquatic Centre will provide hours of enjoyment for the whole family and is where world records will be broken at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games™.

It is a world class facility designed for your enjoyment and comfort. We offer fun, fitness and leisure for everyone, all year round.

Our facilities include:

  • 50 metre competition pool - 10-lane
  • *10 metre x 15 metre learn-to-swim pool (indoor)
  • children’s splash pool
  • 50 metre training pool - eight lanes
  • 25 metre program pool - seven lanes
  • 33 metre diving pool - depth of between three and five metres
  • diving platforms - one metre, three metre, five metre, 7.5 metre and 10 metre platforms
  • dry dive training facility - dive boards; one metre and three metres
  • change rooms and amenities
  • support facilities
  • fully equipped gymnasium
  • indoor/outdoor café
  • multi–function meeting rooms
  • consultation rooms
  • crèche
  • event space
  • spectator concourse with permanent seating for approximately 1000 people.

Note: all swimming pools are heated to a minimum of 27 degrees celsius all year round.

Parking is available at the Aquatic Centre and Broadwater Parklands.

*Permitted use of the indoor pool

  • learn to swim
  • rehabilitation and low impact exercise
  • parents and children.

Note: The indoor pool will not be available for public use during learn to swim classes.

The indoor pool is available for community use:

Monday through Friday - 5am to 8am/12pm to 2.30pm/6.30pm to 8pm

Saturday - 1pm to 5pm

Sunday - 7am to 4pm

Dive boards open for action

The dive boards will be available for general use (weather permitting) for $3.10 (on top of normal entry fee) each school holiday period (Queensland) between the hours of 12.30pm and 3.30pm (subject to change) Monday to Friday. Dive boards will not be available weekends or public holidays unless booked for private use.
