Australia Day 2019

Australia Day Celebrations have concluded for the year. Details about the 2019 event will be announced in due course.

The 2018 event

Thousands were part of the celebrations that unite our nation at the 2018 Gold Coast Australia Day event at Broadwater Parklands.

The event featured a bunch of local music talent including sets from The Twine, Sunset City and Cheap Fakes, and the kids enjoyed the JJ Richards Adventure Zone. The all-nations food truck feast made for a wonderful afternoon of food and fun.

The free event concluded with a spectacular fireworks display. The colourful presentation featured a new live performance component not seen before at this event. Crowds were wowed by fly boards, jet skis and jetpacks, while the fantastic fireworks light up across the Broadwater.
