Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens

Why not bring the family down to our lovely botanic gardens and see all the beautiful flowers blooming this weekend?

Botanic Gardens Education Program

The Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens present a great opportunity for primary school students to learn all about the environment, flora and fauna. Educational topics range from exploring the sensory gardens to understanding the importance of biodiversity. All lessons have been developed by our environmental educator to link with the Australian Curriculum for Science and History. The themes of the lessons include conservation, biodiversity, sustainability, interdependence and indigenous perspectives.

The table below is a quick reference to the education programs offered at the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens.

We also have the Rotary Education Pavilion available to book for educational activities only (no private social functions).  To book, please visit our Park Bookings page and select 'Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens - Rotary Pavilion' from the drop down menu.

To see more detail, download the Education Brochure. Programs can be tailored to meet the needs of your class. For further information, please email the Education Officer at educationatthegardens@goldcoast.qld.gov.au.
