Ride to Work Breakfast*

In celebration of Bike Week 2018, ride your bike to work and make a pit stop for a free breakfast and bicycle maintenance check. Bookings required.

Darkness into Light

The Darkness into Light event is symbolic of the work of Pieta House, turning Darkness into Light and despair to hope. The 5-kilometre walk will commence in darkness and finish at sunrise as all walk in solidarity with the message of hope. Registration must be completed online in advance of the event. Register by 4 May 2018 to receive your free 10th anniversary T-shirt.

RSPCA Million Paws Walk

Give your dogs a real treat by taking them along to the largest event on the Gold Coast’s canine calendar. This fundraising walk will be brimming with activities, good food, furry friends, market stalls and more.

2018 WIA Radio and Electronic Field Day*

The Wireless Institute of Australia are hosting the final component of their Beyond 2020 Convention at Broadwater Parklands. Public are welcome to enjoy a line-up of exhibitions and demonstrations including Microwave Shootout, MMDVM Demonstration, GCARS Field Command Centre and much more. Monster Machinery Day*

Bring the whole family as the parklands come alive with everything that digs, scoops, cleans and beeps. More than 50 City vehicles will be on display to the public including excavators, graders, loaders, tip trucks, road sweepers, beach tractors, quad bikes and more. There will be food stalls, live machinery demonstrations, free rides and entertainment for kids of all ages.

Borobi Fan Trail*

Check out the Official GC2018 Borobi Fan Trail, an 8.5-kilometre designated walking and cycling route for the GC2018 Commonwealth Games. Stretching across the beautiful Gold Coast coastline all the way from Broadwater Parklands down to Broadbeach.
