Christmas Lights Competition 2016
Presented by Heritage Bank
This year’s Christmas Lights Competition certainly lived up to the promise to be bigger and better than ever with a new and exciting collaboration with Yahoo! 7.
The Mayor assembled a panel of lighting experts who put their skills to good use by viewing every entry and narrowing the field to down to the “Mayor’s Panel Top 12”. The public then had the opportunity to vote for the “7 News Gold Coast People’s Choice Award”. The winner, runner up and third place prizes were awarded, and the top 12 finalists also received a prize.
And the winners are...
7 Gold Coast News People's Choice Award winners.
- First place - 5 Mintwood Place, Molendinar
- Runner up - 26 Jagera Drive, Upper Coomera
- Third place - 16 Dabchick Drive, Burleigh Waters
Please drive safely when visiting the Christmas Lights entrants' houses and keep an eye out for pedestrians. Congratulations to all the winners and Merry Christmas!
The full list of 2016 entrants is available for you to download.
Everyone who voted were also in the running to win a $1000 cheque from 7 News Gold Coast.
