Next steps

Approval

Upon receipt of your booking application, the City will accept a tentative banner booking and will provide you with:

  • a written quotation detailing banner hire and any associated fees; and
  • terms and conditions of hire.

All quotations are valid for a period of up to 14 days. Bookings are released without notice if the written quotation is not accepted within this time.

Artwork

Once the quotation has been accepted by the hirer, City Banners will provide written confirmation of the tentative banner booking and will request the hirer to provide banner artwork consistent with the City’s guidelines via upload to the City’s Box account. Please visit our City banner design guidelines and sponsored banner and unsponsored banner templates to assist in creating your banner design.

Designs should be submitted to the City a minimum of 10 weeks prior to the proposed installation date to allow for approvals and production time.

Allow approximately:
- six weeks for approval process
- four weeks for banner manufacture.

The hirer has one opportunity to send in revised artwork if the initial design is not acceptable (i.e. if it does not meet the artwork guidelines outlined in the City Banner design guidelines).

Cancellations

Please note, tentative bookings are void (at which time bookings will be released without notice) if:

  • a City banner quotation is not accepted by the hirer; or
  • first and second round artwork is not approved.

Please refer to our pricing schedule including terms and conditions for further details regarding cancellations.

Payment

Once your artwork has been approved, you will receive confirmation of your banner booking and an online payment request for all associated banner fees. Payment of banner fees must be received by the City no less than 14 days from the date of the payment request.

Full payment of total banner fees is required prior to banner production and installation commencing.

Installation

Once your artwork has been approved and the City has received payment of your banner fees in full, we will liaise with our approved contractor to arrange banner production and installation.
