Coomera Indoor Sports Centre

Located in Coomera Sports Park, Coomera Indoor Sports Centre is an important piece of community infrastructure for one of the Gold Coast's fastest growing regions. This multi-purpose facility has been designed to world-class competition standards, with an indoor arena that can incorporate eight basketball/netball-sized courts and a 1500 square metre gymnastics facility, accommodating a range of elite and community indoor sports such as netball, volleyball, futsal, gymnastics and basketball.

Please note: Due to yearly maintenance and scheduled events the Coomera Indoor Sports Centre will be closed for public bookings or casual shoot around sessions from 17 December 2018 to 13 January 2019.

Casual court hire

Single court hire and casual shoot-around sessions will depend on availability. We highly recommend phoning ahead to check available times.

Shoot around sessions

  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
  • Cost: $3.50 per person per session
  • EFTPOS facilities only

*Casual shoot-arounds (walk in) sessions are available for basketball only (one hoop). This does not guarantee sole use of the court. Fees must be paid prior to entering the courts. Wristbands are to be collected from the information counter and worn during the session.

Not available on weekends, public holidays or during events. All patrons must abide by the Conditions of Entry.


Single court hire

Cost: Start from $37 per court per hour

Exclusive use of a single court requires a booking to made. Participants are required to supply their own sports balls as these are not available to hire.

Court hire fees must be paid prior to booking commencement. Additional costs may apply for single hire event bookings. Hirer must abide by the Conditions of hire.

  • By car: there is plenty of parking available at the Centre.
  • By public transport: TransLink is a division of the Department of Transport and Main Roads, providing bus, trains and trams services across the Gold Coast. Use TransLink's journey planner to help plan your trip.

Please note event bookings for 2018 are now closed. Bookings for 2019 and 2020 are now open.

We recommend booking a year in advance or enquire about a multi-year booking to secure your preferred dates.

Lost property

Major Sporting Venues is not responsible for personal property left at the venues.

Due to the high volume of sporting activity and events in our venues, we are unable to store lost items. Where possible items will be returned to the sporting club or event organiser.
