Prepare yourself for an evening of sensory overload at the fourth annual GLOW at the Gold Coast Cultural Precinct.


Illuminate your senses at GLOW – the City’s unique night time digital art, light, water and laser experience. This free event is being held on Saturday 8 July from 5pm to 10pm at Gold Coast Cultural Precinct, Surfers Paradise.

Attractions include a spectacular laser show on the lake, interactive gaming, virtual reality activations, glow in the dark yoga and tai chi, digital murals, light installations from Griffith University students and the Funmaker Silent Disco Bus. There will also be entertainment from roving street performers, dancers, local bands and solo artists, a free movie screening, a mechanoid robot show and much, much more.

Gold Coast icon The Cambus Wallace will host a unique, fully licensed ‘glow bar’ and the exciting GLOW street food precinct will cater to all tastes to ensure patrons don’t go hungry. Afterwards, wander down to the Winter Wonderland Sweets Garden to indulge in some decadent desserts or grab a coffee to enjoy the show.

Be sure to wear all white to shine bright under the UV lights. You can even have special glow in the dark make-up applied by The Design Academy experts on hand.

The event showcases the emerging Gold Coast Cultural Precinctand highlights the City’s commitment to supporting local artists and creative talent.

Catch the free water shuttle from Cavill Avenue pontoon (Helm Bar) to Evandale or utilise the free car parking available at The Gold Coast Arts Centre.

This is a free event.

Ride the G:link to Surfers Paradise (or park at the Bruce Bishop car park), then catch a free water shuttle from the Cavill Avenue pontoon to the event. Limited parking is also available onsite at The Arts Centre Gold Coast.
