Bike Week is a celebration of all things cycling, packed with mostly free activities for all ages and cycling abilities. So whether you're a regular rider wanting to participate in some more challenging events, a recreational rider or if you haven't been on a bike for years and want to test the theory about not forgetting how to ride a bike, Bike Week has something for you!

Introduction to mountain biking Nerang National Park Saturday 26 April 2.30pm - 4.30pm
You will learn how to control your bike and ride safely to maximise your enjoyment of riding on off-road trails. Conducted by accredited coaches, this workshop is a great way to get started in mountain biking. This workshop is designed for riders aged 10 years and over.
Better bike maintenance Runaway Bay Tuesday 29 April 11am - 12.30pm
You will learn valuable tips and be shown how to clean your bike, repair punctures, adjust your brakes and maintain the chain. This workshop is designed for beginners of all ages as well as family groups.
Ride 2 Work Day community breakfast Broadwater Parklands Thursday 1 May 6am - 8.30am
Celebrate 'Ride 2 Work Day' at the Broadwater Parklands, Southport. Those who ride to the event will be rewarded with a free breakfast.
Better bike maintenance Nerang Friday 2 May 11am - 12.30pm

You will learn valuable tips and be shown how to clean yoru bike, repair punctures, adjust your breaks and maintain the chain. This workshop is designed for beginners of all ages as well as family groups.
Bike and Street Fest Varsity Parade Varsity Lakes Sunday 4 May 10am - 2pm
Join us for a range of activities and entertainment, including a street parade, kids activities, bicycle art, live music, BMX demonstrations, bicycle maintenance workshops, Zero the Hero show, bling your bike competition, a bicycle show and shine and lucky door prizes.
Training Wheels to Two Wheels Course (two hours) Varsity Parade Varsity Lakes Sunday 4 May 10am - noon and noon - 2pm
This workshop is conducted by accredited coaches and is designed for children aged from five to 10 years who would like to learn how to progress from training wheels to two wheels. Children must bring a two-wheeled bike or a balance bike and must wear a helmet and enclosed shoes. Parents must remain with their children during the workshop.
BMX demonstration by Tim Wood Varsity Parade Varsity Lakes Sunday 4 May 10am - 2pm
Enjoy BMX demonstrations by champion BMX rider Tim Wood and his crew.
